A graduate of Arizona State University, with a B.A. degree in political science and an emphasis in international studies, Cathy started her real estate career in commercial, retail, and industrial development working for Hillman Properties West and later working as a consultant, advising developers with rezoning and amending CC&Rs in Southern California.

Upon moving to Marin County in 1997, she shifted into residential real estate and has enjoyed over 26 successful years in Marin County as a top-performing Realtor, earning a Seniors Specialist designation and being honored with the Silver Award at Coldwell Banker and the Executive Club Award at Re/Max before joining Engel & Völkers in 2018 and launching the Marin County offices as a founding member and establishing the Diringer Cook Group.

Cathy lives with her husband and twin daughters in Mill Valley. In her free time, she loves being on the water, playing tennis and exploring California's charming towns and hidden hamlets.
